Your Safari at a Glance

Day 1                     
Meet and greet your tour guide at the airport and transfer to  Acacia Boutique Hotel  in Entebbe. The drive to the lodge takes about 20 minutes. Its is a good hotel to start your holiday, it has one of the best views in Entebbe and over looking lake Victoria. Its also very quite and clean with good services.for overnight.  Stay 1 Night.

Day 2                   

Today after an early breakfast you will transfer to Gulu. Along the way trek the White Rhinos at Ziwa Sanctuary on foot. This is a good way to break the journey. You will have lunch after the trekking and then continue to Gulu town.  Overnight Churchill Courts. Stay 1 Night.


Day 3                     

Today you have early breakfast and then travel to Kidepo valley N.P. A long but rewarding drive will take you passed one of the most beautiful scenery in Uganda. 

Kidepo Valley NP has some of the most amazing scenery in the country! For many people this is the most beautiful park of Uganda. Here you will find almost no tourists leaving you free to enjoy the park and its unique combination of wildlife without distraction. You will stay at  Kidepo Savannah Lodge. Stay 2 Nights.

 Day 4

 This morning you will wake up and have some tea or coffee at the lodge and then it’s time to continue with a search for more animals.

Kidepo is famous for its lions relaxing on the rocks - a scene which may remind you of a certain Disney film. You might even be very lucky to spot a leopard or cheetah! Besides the 4x4 safaris you can also take a bush walk in the park with an armed ranger. Later returns to the lodge have a relaxed afternoon and then go again for another afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.


Day 5                 

Today after an early breakfast you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a stop[ over for lunch in Gulu town and then proceed to the Park. You will have a short game drive on your way to the Lodge for Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge. You will Stay for 2 Nights. 

Day 6                    

After an early breakfast you will go on a Game drive in the Park. This is the biggest and oldest  Park in Uganda. It had a diversity of Wildlife such as  Giraffe, different kinds of Antelopes, and you also have a good chance of spotting the Big 4 animals. In the afternoon after lunch you will go on a  Boat Safari for 2 hours and Hike the Waterfalls. Overnight  Paraa Safari Lodge. 

Day 7                  

This day you will have a very early breakfast and drive to Kibale Forest National Park. This is yet one of the long drives but very sec-inc as well with lots of Tea Plantations along the way. You will have lunch en-route we highly recommend trying out local restaurant along the way. Overnight Kibale Forest Camp.  Stay 2 Nights.


Day 8                 

After an early breakfast you will drive to the kibale National Park to trek the chimpanzee in the forest. This is an amazing experience coming face to face with our closet relatives. The trekking usually takes 3 - 4 hours, the best time to trek the chimps is always in the morning.  Other activities that aslo be done in the area are; highly recommended is the bigodi swamp walk were we find lots of different primates such as Olive baboons, L-hoest monkey, black and white colobus monkey and red colobus monkey many birds such as great blue turaco among many others. Overnight  Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 9                      

After breakfast we drive to Queen Elizabeth national park, arrive The Bush Lodge in time for lunch and later we go for an afternoon boat cruise along the kazinga channel were we enjoy lots of hippos, elephants, crocodiles and abundant birdlife.

Dinner and overnight at The Bush Lodge . Stay 1 Night. 


Day 10                        

The day begins early when we start with a morning game drive and head to the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. We search for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wild animals in their natural habitat and later we continue to Ishasha to search for lions in the trees. Thanks to the abundant birdlife that is sighted, and the elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos that are cooling off at the hippo pool, this part of the park will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari.

Dinner and overnight at Enjojo Lodge. . ( Serengeti Tents with your own bathroom). Overnight Stay 1 Night.

Day 11                    

After breakfast we go into the park once again to search for Lions and leopards. The early we start the safaris is always good since in nature is just arising especially a good time for spotted hyenas as well. Then we return to the lodge to be served coffee and brunch before we start a 2 hour drive to Buhoma for the gorilla ultimate experience. Overnight at Broad bill Forest Camp, Stay 2 Nights. 

Day 12                    

After an early breakfast armed with our packed lunch and least 2 liters of water its time to meet the Mountain Gorillas. You will proceed to the briefing point which is just 5 minutes away from your lodge. Here you will be divided into groups of not more than 8 people per group. In Buhoma we have at least 3 groups you can choose from. In Bwindi which is 331sq kilometers we have 13 groups of gorillas that can be trekked by tourists. The chances of seeing the gorillas are at least 95%.Some reasonable amount of fitness is required. Overnight Broad bill Forest Camp.  


Day 13                  

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi. The drive takes about 2/3 hours. You will be in time for lunch at the island. This is the perfect place to relax and have a cold beer. There are many options of things to do around the island like bird watching, swimming, canoeing, village walks, cultural dance, visiting a school and other community projects but all these are optional at an extra cost ranging from $10 to $25. Overnight at Bunyonyi Overland Camp.  Stay 2 Nights. 

Day 14                 

Today is a free day for you at the island. The lake is the deepest lake in Uganda about 900meters, deep so its free of hlihazia

you can swin in it. Many people who visit Itambira seek to do nothing at all except enjoy the peace and tranquility.

Feel free to enjoy our sun loungers and chill out! For you, sunset watching with a cold beer is highly recommended to finish off your day. For those looking to explore or be a little more active, there are very many options like canoeing, birds watching, village tours, visiting the Batwa among many others. Day 15 

After a relaxed breakfast you transfer to lake Mburo National Park. Nature walk in the Park Overnight Rwakobo Rock. Stay 2 Nights 

Day 16

Early start of the day as we go for a game drive in the park returns to the Lodge for breakfast. Later in the afternoon, enjoy another Game drive searching for Giraffes, Birds, Zebras, antelopes, warthogs and many more. (Optional night boat ride, game drive, nature walk in the park with a ranger)

Dinner and overnight Rwakobo Rock. 

Day 17 

This morning you can choose to do a safari in the park or a morning walk or relax and sleep in, have a late breakfast and later continue to drive to Entebbe for your departure home. Along the way you will stop at the Equator and have time for shopping. Entebbe town is well know for the Botanical gardens and beach along Lake Victoria. Its a city lots of good restaurants and bars. Discuss the options with your tour guide. Dinner and overnight  Acacia Boutique Entebbe.. Stay 1 Night. 

Day 18 

Today you will go to Mabamba for a Swamp tour on a canoe to search for a Prehistoric bird known as Shoe bill Stock and many other birds. You can also visit the Botanical Gardens after the Swamp and  later go to the hotel to freshen up before  transfer to Entebbe  Airport for your flight home.
